Behaviour Modification
  • A behaviour serves a specific function for each person, thus function is defined by identifying the type and source of reinforcement of the target behaviour.
  • For specific behaviour that needs to be addressed (i.e. tantrums, aggression, self injurious behaviour, etc.) we will observe the child in its natural environment to hypothesize the reinforcement or consequence maintaining the behaviour.   We will then provide the family a plan about utilizing ABA strategies to decrease or extinguish the target behaviour.
  • If further, required a formal behaviour intervention plan will be designed and implemented with the child in a more structured and intensive manner.
  • In this program children will learn to manage their inappropriate behaviour and develop social skills to integrate and function independently in the society.
  • Clinical Supervisor and Psychologist will directly monitor the assessment and progress of this program.
